In the recent past Female Foeticide has been a major issue of concern in India. Though the number had gradually decreased over the years due to proper Education and guidance, but still there are many families who still have other thoughts for Girl childs. They kill them in the Womb itself or if she takes birth, they either kill them or throw them as if she was never a part of them. This concern had led the government and many NGO’s to come up with various programs promoting the concept of SAVING GIRL CHILD. In the recent times many Actors and popular personalities have joined hands with the Government to promote this wise thought and eradicate the old rituals of killing or Abandoning Girl Child.
Today we are going to take you through a story of a Man restored the losing faith in Humanity in India. Where many doctors in pursuit of their profession get into wrong practices leading to Female Foeticide, Dr. Ganesh Rakh – a Doctor from Pune does the Delivery of Pregnant women for free if the Child turns out to be a Girl Child. Yes you’ve heard it right.. If the child in the womb is a Girl child Dr. Rakh waives off the entire Delivery Charges.
Dr. Ganesh Rakh set-up his own Maternity Hospital in Hadapsar of Pune cuty. He states that the primary motive of establishing the hospital is to help the Underprivileged Patients who cannot bear the huge expenses of big Hospitals. Dr. Ganesh Rakh states that “As a Doctor I have witnessed some of the extreme cases where the Mother of the child has to go through extreme torture after she delivers a Girl Child”. And hence he came up with something very inspiring and helpful to those underprivileged too. He says that till date he had delivered Hundreds of Girl Child Babies and all the Maternity charges have been waived off.
Dr. Rakh’s inspiring initiative has successfully Inspired many others in the field of Medical Practice. Where not every one inspired by Dr. Ganesh Rakh is able to waive off complete amount but there are many who are reducing the charges to almost 50%, if the Child is a GIrl Child.
